June 10‐14th First Responders Training Retreat
Enjoy some well‐deserved relaxation as well as some training for our First Responders at the First Responders Training Retreat. Our first responders can get some quality training for their jobs and can relax with their families by the pool, enjoy some golfing and camping.
Ever wanted to know what it looked like to camp or participate in the Civil War? Here’s your chance to witness the cannon fire and talk to some experts who reenact the civil war and know all about it at the Civil War Encampment. Stick around after the gunfire and enjoy camping, swimming and some of the best BBQ around.
July 25‐26th Illinois BBQ Fest
Illinois BBQ Fest is the place to be for some of the best BBQ around. Some of the best BBQ chefs in the Midwest will gather at Hillcrest Event Center to see who is the best of the best in BBQ cooking. Sample their food and decide for yourself who is the best of the best in BBQ. Then stay for some camping, relaxing by the pool, playing some golf, or even all three!
August 8th Quad Cities Arm WrestlingChallenge
Who has the strongest arms in the Midwest? Find out at the Quad Cities Arm Wrestling Challenge at Hillcrest Event Center in Orion, Illinois. Come and compete or just watch the strongest arms compete. For details and camping information contact Hillcrest Event Center.
August 22nd American Country MusicFest
Tap your foot and clap your hands to some good old down home country music at the American Country Music Fest. Enjoy country music from some of your local favorites along with some of the Best BBQ in the Midwest in our restaurant.
September 11‐13th Ride 4The Cause
Rev‐up those engines and get out on the highway to raise money for a great cause. Ride 4 The Cause Rally supports local charities that help those in need in our community.
October 9‐11th Quad Cities Renaissance Faire
Hear ye hear ye, calling all princes and princesses, knights and noble women, and kids of all ages to join us for the Quad Cities Renaissance Faire. Enjoy the food and flair of medieval times and camp out like peasants (with modern amenities) at Hillcrest’s very own campground.
October 1‐31st Haunted Woods
Ghouls, goblins, and vampires, oh my! Enter the Haunted Woods if you dare, you’ll never know what is around the corner. Open Fridays and Saturdays in October for all the Halloween fun.
